Edson “Sonny” Remy is the Dock Supervisor at MXIPA. Sonny is an excellent Supervisor and hustles as hard as anyone. Sonny’s main responsibilities are transloading incoming waste into the proper outbound trailers and loading supplies for HHW events. He puts in lots of long hours loading material and then meticulously checking the counts on every job to ensure the staff have everything they need to get the job done. He is also a Project Manager for the HHW Program. Every weekend we have an event you can bet Sonny is out working hard! Everyday he greets everyone with a smile and handshake. He is truly a class act and a pleasure to have as part of the team. Here is his interview:

Where were you born and raised?
I was born in Haiti and raised in North Jersey
Where do you live and why did you end up there?
I live in Irvington, NJ. My parents bought a house there when they moved from Haiti. It became home and I wound up staying.
Do you like where you live?
LOL. Its ok, I guess.
Tell us about your family or some significant loved ones who play a big role in your life (kids, spouse, parents, ect):
Tennilie. She’s my girlfriend and she’s an amazing person. She’s truly the reason why I am the man I am today.
What do you like to do when you are not working?
I enjoy spending time with my kids and family. I also try and workout as well.
When did you begin working at MXI/Dynamic?
I began working the HHW jobs in 2008. I came on as a full time employee in the fall of 2011.
What do you like most about working at MXI?
Everything. The people, the job, the atmosphere, just everything is great.
Cruising. Nothing beats a great cruise!

I’d sleep in.
