MXI has operated the Morris County Permanent Household Hazardous Waste Facility since 2008 and has done an excellent job doing so. Their personnel are very well trained and a pleasure to deal with. MXI management has continuously supplied the support required whether it for regular operations or special issues. I found that I could always count on MXI for whatever hazardous waste support was needed. In closing I would like to say that it has been and continues to be a positive, professional and pleasant experience having MXI as the MCMUA’s HHW facilities contractor.
Tom Burbridge, Hazardous Waste & Compost Coordinator, Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority
MXI has provided pesticide collection, packaging, storage and transportation services for farm-to-farm collections for the past four years. They also provide HHW services under the same contract. I appreciate the good communication between my office, the MXI contract manager and the HHW coordinators. I receive all related disposal documentation such as manifests and certificates of destruction as soon as MXI receives them. MXI is good at scheduling and routing the collections from the inventories I provide. Overall, I am quite satisfied with their work.
Don Gilbert, Environmental Specialist, PA Department of Agriculture
More than 100,000 pounds of household hazardous waste materials were dropped off Saturday at the first collection hosted by the Schuylkill County Office of Solid Waste and Resource Management in nearly 20 years. The event was due…residents have been calling in about it for a while. MXI is an excellent service and the operation went smoothly.
Joseph Scribbick, Schuylkill County Recycling Coordinator, Frackville, PA
First, let me say a BIG THANK YOU for your help making our STOP program an amazing success this year. The windy weather on Sunday didn’t “stop” our residents from coming out! A total of 811 cars came in – a record for the year for the Port Washington location. We couldn’t have made it successful without your excellent service, as always. Please let me know the total amounts collected as soon as you can.
Bill Karavasilis, Recycling Coordinator, Town of North Hempstead Office of Sustainability
I just wanted to write and inform you that it was appreciated by me, all of you and your co-workers (Sunny/Rick) hard work and dedication to duty during the PA 2014 Chem Sweep Program. All three of you gentlemen are very professional and hardworking. It was a pleasure to work with you gentlemen during the pickup of the pesticide products from Allegheny, Beaver and Washington Counties this year.
Janet L. Driggers, Agronomic Products Inspector, Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture Bureau of Plant Industry
Marc, I just wanted to thank you again for the outstanding services you and your crew provided at our HHW collection last Saturday. We had multiple compliments from our participants on how well organized the operation was and the short wait times. I particularly appreciate the way you calmly and professionally handle anything that comes in. You make it look easy and we’re looking forward to working with you again next year.
Robert J, Van Valkenburg, Deputy Superintendent, Greene County Highway and Solid Waste
Mr. Potter: Just a quick note to express my gratitude & appreciation for the most professional, competent, hard-working, and honest crew I’ve worked with in 17 years. It was a pleasure to work with Josh, Jon, Ed, and Jim. I look forward to working with your company in the near future.
Allan L. Bobadilla, Industrial Hygienist
I wanted to extend a thanks to you, Craig and the rest of your team from all of us for such an efficient, professional, great job. We were all very impressed, and it truly was a pleasure working with you. We’re looking forward to the Sept. 26 event and hope the rest of your spring events go very well.
Dan Rain – Bethlehem NY HHW Coordinator
TMXI has serviced our one day Household Hazardous Waste collections for the past four years. The company is a pleasure to work with. They are responsive to customer needs, environmentally aware and interact well with the public. They work quickly and professionally to get the job done for our municipalities. And they don’t break our budgets! In the past year MXI has taken on the additional role of collecting paint both as part of our HHW collections and for stand alone one day paint only collections to implement CT’s paint stewardship program. The paint program has been a big hit with the public and has been seamlessly integrated into our HHW collections thanks to the efforts of MXI.
